چکیده

A method is proposed to construct radar (or sonar) hyperimages from the knowledge of a backscattering function. Compared to usual imaging, the new feature is to treat on equal footing all parameters characterizing the image: frequency, di-rectivity and position of the bright points in the two-dimensional static case; frequency, velocity, position, and date of existence in the one-dimensional imaging of nonstationary targets. The main interest of such a formulation is to allow the control of the reciprocal relations that are always present in microwave imaging. This possibility can be useful for processing data obtained by today's wide-band radars.

Applications of Continuous Wavelet Transform to Polarimetry and Interferometry

Usual imaging process makes the assumption that the reflectors are isotropic (i.e they behave the same way regardless of the angle from which they are viewed) and white (they have the same properties within the emitted frequency bandwidth). New imaging capacities make these assumptions obsolete and some degradation of the image quality occurs when performing the standard imaging process. Multid...

The Impact of Bandwidth on Through-the-wall Radar Imaging

An electromagnetic model is simulated using finite difference time domain for through-the-wall radar imaging. In the numerical simulation narrow-, wide-, and ultra-wide-band signals are used as emission sources. The back projection algorithm is applied to image square and rectangular ideal metal bodies based on a refraction model. The results demonstrate that there is obvious refraction in the ...

A Novel Compact Dual Notch Band Filter Based on Metamaterial Concept

Using composite right-left handed (CRLH) transmission line concept, a novel miniaturized dual notch band filter (DNBF) is proposed. The suggested DNBF consists of an interdigital transmission line (ITL), split ring resonators (SRRs) and complementary split ring resonators (CSRRs). Since the resonance frequency of the SRRs and CSRRs are quite independent of each other, the dual notch bands of th...

Estimation of soil moisture using optical, thermal and radar Remote Sensing )Case Study: South of Tehran(

Traditional methods of field measurement of soil moisture in addition to the difficulty, the need for manpower and money and fail to take place on a large scale to be able to show moisture. Therefore, remote sensing has become a widespread use .Landsat 8 satellite data and Sentinel-1 radar satellite from Tehran were provided. 72 soil samples were taken at the same time by satellite passing from...

An Imaging Algorithm of a Target with Arbitrary Motion for Ultra Wide-Band Radar with a Small Number of Antennas

UWB (ultra wide-band) pulse radar is a promising candidate for surveillance systems. The fast SEABED (Shape Estimation Algorithm based on BST and Extraction of Directly scattered waves) imaging algorithm is deployed in the application of UWB pulse radar in fields that require real-time operations. However, since the SEABED algorithm uses signals received at multiple locations, this method eithe...
